Adam Prentice
Adam Prentice Finishes quiet 2025 season
Thu, Feb 12, 2026, 12:16 PM
Prentice ended the 2025 regular season with 10 carries for 44 yards, adding six receptions on eight targets for 53 yards across 17 games. He added one catch for three yards over two playoff contests.
Analysis: Prentice was minimally involved in the Broncos' offensive attack this season, playing at least 25 percent of snaps in just three games in 2025. The veteran fullback, instead, played a higher percentage of his snaps on special teams. Prentice was promoted to Denver's active roster from the practice squad for the first three games, ultimately leading the Broncos to sign him to the active roster for the remainder of the season. The 29-year-old will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, so he'll perhaps be signed back with the Broncos based on his familiarity with head coach Sean Payton's system. If not, he'd likely garner interest from other teams around the league.
Evan Engram
Evan Engram Lackluster year in Denver
Thu, Feb 12, 2026, 11:56 AM
Engram ended the 2025 campaign with 50 receptions (on 76 targets) for 461 yards and one touchdown, adding one carry for seven yards across 16 regular-season games. He added three catches (on six targets) for 26 yards over two playoff contests.
Analysis: Engram's first year in Denver was mostly a disappointment, as the tight end was not a major part of the offensive game plan most weeks. The veteran played over 50 percent of the offensive snaps just three times during the regular season, while teammate Adam Trautman saw the field as a blocking specialist more often. With that said, Engram still managed to finish third in receiving yards on the team behind Courtland Sutton (1,017) and Troy Franklin (709), as quarterback Bo Nix spread the ball around to several different pass catchers throughout the season. The 31-year-old remains under contract for the 2026 season, but based on his current usage in head coach Sean Payton's offense, he'll likely be difficult to trust for consistent fantasy production once again.
J.K. Dobbins
J.K. Dobbins Season cut short by foot injury
Thu, Feb 12, 2026, 9:19 AM
Dobbins (foot) ended the 2025 campaign with 153 carries for 772 yards and four touchdowns, adding 11 receptions (on 14 targets) for 37 yards across 10 regular-season games.
Analysis: Dobbins ended up leading the Broncos in rushing yards despite missing the final seven games of the regular season. The 27-year-old running back had a strong start to his sixth season, as he handled the majority of touches out of the backfield ahead of rookie RJ Harvey, Tyler Badie and Jaleel McLaughlin. A foot injury suffered Week 10 required surgery, forcing him to miss the remainder of the campaign. Though Dobbins proved to be a good signing when he was on the field, his issues with durability remain a concern. The veteran resumed practicing in a limited fashion ahead of Denver's AFC Championship Game loss to the Patriots, but he was ultimately not quite ready to play. It appears he's on the right track in his recovery, boding well for his ability to be ready for next season. However, where he'll be playing remains a mystery, as Dobbins will become an unrestricted free agent this offseason after signing a one-year deal with the Broncos last June. If the Ohio State product returns to Denver, he'd likely split time with Harvey, whose development after Dobbins went down should earn him consistent playing time in his sophomore season. When he's healthy, Dobbins figures to draw attention from several running back-needy teams around the league.
Pat Bryant
Pat Bryant Shows improvement in rookie season
Wed, Feb 11, 2026, 12:53 PM
Bryant (hamstring) ended the 2025 campaign with 31 receptions on 49 targets for 378 yards and a touchdown across 15 regular-season games. He added four grabs on four targets for 34 yards and one rush for one yard in two playoff games.
Analysis: Despite a slow start to his first season, Bryant became a more important part of the Broncos' aerial attack as the campaign progressed. The rookie wideout worked his way up the depth chart to operate as Denver's No. 3 receiver, averaging six targets per game across his final four regular-season contests. Bryant suffered a hamstring injury in the second quarter of the AFC Championship Game loss to the Patriots, which led to him ultimately being ruled out for the second half of the game. Assuming the 23-year-old is back to full strength before next season, he should play a significant role as a pass catcher in head coach Sean Payton's offense alongside fellow receivers Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin. Bryant's continued development and the overall improvement of Denver's offense could allow the Illinois product to take a major step forward in 2026.
Lil'Jordan Humphrey
Lil'Jordan Humphrey Underwhelming season in 2025
Sun, Feb 8, 2026, 12:37 PM
Humphrey ended the 2025 regular season with 13 receptions on 25 targets for 156 yards and a touchdown across 10 regular season games.
Analysis: Humphrey began the 2025 campaign with the Giants, recording four receptions for 55 yards over three games. The Broncos signed the veteran wideout away from New York's practice squad ahead of Denver's Week 11 matchup against the Chiefs. The veteran wideout rejoined the Broncos, having spent the previous two seasons in Denver. Humphrey provided depth in a familiar offense behind Courtland Sutton, Troy Franklin, Pat Bryant and Marvin Mims. The 27-year-old will become an unrestricted free agent this offseason, so he'll hope to be signed by a team looking for help in their wide receiver room ahead of the 2026 campaign. It's possible, however, that Humphrey could re-sign with the Broncos based on his familiarity with head coach Sean Payton's system.
Troy Franklin
Troy Franklin Takes leap in sophomore campaign
Sun, Feb 8, 2026, 12:18 PM
Franklin (hamstring) ended the 2025 regular season with 65 receptions (on 104 targets) for 709 yards and six touchdowns, adding five rushes for 12 yards across 17 games. He also lost one fumble.
Analysis: Franklin became a much bigger part of the Broncos offense in his second season, and his continued development and existing chemistry with quarterback Bo Nix led to more usage in Denver's passing attack in 2025. Before suffering a hamstring injury in the divisional-round win over the Bills this postseason, the 23-year-old wideout was one of Nix's most reliable targets behind No. 1 receiver Courtland Sutton. Of all Broncos pass catchers, Franklin finished second behind Sutton in catches, targets, receiving yards and touchdowns. The Oregon product finished third on the team with 282 yards after contact, behind running back RJ Harvey (360) and tight end Evan Engram (302). Under contract through the 2027 season, Franklin should remain a key piece of an improving Broncos offense for the foreseeable future.
Bo Nix
Bo Nix To be back on field in 4-to-6 weeks
Wed, Jan 28, 2026, 4:49 PM
Nix said Wednesday that he'll begin training again in about 4-to-6 weeks after undergoing surgery on a "simple bone break" in his right ankle last Tuesday, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports.
Analysis: That's not to say Nix won't require 12 weeks to recover fully, as reported by Adam Schefter of ESPN on Sunday, but the second-year quarterback will resume on-field work about when he normally would in the offseason after his season ended when he suffered the injury near the end of the Broncos' divisional-round overtime win against the Bills. Nix racked up 3,931 passing yards, 356 more yards on the ground and 30 total touchdowns (25 through the air, five rushing) in 17 regular-season games in 2025, so he'll remain a steady option for fantasy purposes in the upcoming campaign once he's healthy.
Deuce Vaughn
Deuce Vaughn Sticking around in Denver
Mon, Jan 26, 2026, 6:30 PM
The Broncos signed Vaughn to a reserve/future contract Monday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Vaughn caught on with the Broncos on their practice squad in early September after failing to make the Cowboys' 53-man roster at the end of training camp in late August. The 2023 sixth-rounder didn't end up playing a single game in 2025 after appearing in 14 regular-season games across the two prior years with Dallas. Vaughn will be on the Broncos' 90-man roster when the offseason officially kicks off Feb. 9, which will give the Kansas State product the opportunity to participate in OTAs and minicamp with Denver.
Cody Schrader
Cody Schrader Inks future deal with Denver
Mon, Jan 26, 2026, 6:17 PM
The Broncos signed Schrader to a reserve/future contract Monday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports.
Analysis: A future deal means Schrader will be on Denver's 90-man roster at the start of the offseason, which will allow him to participate in OTAs and minicamp. He was cut by the Rams at the end of traiing camp in late August and had stints with the Jaguars and Texans before catching on with the Broncos in December.
Jaleel McLaughlin
Jaleel McLaughlin Accrues 13 total yards in loss
Sun, Jan 25, 2026, 5:48 PM
McLaughlin rushed four times for 11 yards and brought one of two targets for two yards in the Broncos' 10-7 loss to the Patriots in Sunday's AFC Championship Game.
Analysis: McLaughlin filled his usual complementary role behind RJ Harvey, who led the ground attack with 13 carries. The third-year pro wasn't able to break into the open field on any of this four totes, and weather conditions that included significant second-half snowfall made offense difficult to come by as a whole. McLaughlin will be a restricted free agent this offseason, and it appears unlikely he'll draw any interest from other teams under that classification.
Courtland Sutton
Courtland Sutton Records TD in playoff loss
Sun, Jan 25, 2026, 5:42 PM
Sutton brought in three of five targets for 17 yards and a touchdown in the Broncos' 10-7 loss to the Patriots in Sunday's AFC Championship Game.
Analysis: Sutton helped Denver's afternoon get off on the right foot with a six-yard touchdown reception to cap off the Broncos' second possession. However, the veteran went on to have a key drop later in the first half and struggled to make much of an impact the rest of the way while frequently being shadowed by New England's standout cornerback Christian Gonzalez. Sutton had a relatively unremarkable two-game postseason run save for Sunday's TD grab, as he finished with a combined 7-70-1 line on 14 targets in that span.
Marvin Mims
Marvin Mims Paces pass catchers in playoff loss
Sun, Jan 25, 2026, 5:38 PM
Mims brought in four of six targets for 62 yards and returned three punts for eight yards in the Broncos' 10-7 loss to the Patriots in Sunday's AFC Championship Game.
Analysis: Mims and the Broncos looked like they were on the way to a productive afternoon when the speedster hauled in a 52-yard pass from Jarrett Stidham on Denver's second possession, setting up a touchdown pass to Courtland Sutton two plays later. Mims did continue to feature as a key part of the air attack the remainder of the day in the absence of Troy Franklin and Pat Bryant -- the latter exiting the game in the second quarter -- due to hamstring issues, but a second-half snowstorm significantly comprised both teams' offenses. Mims finished as the co-leader in receptions and targets while setting the pace in receiving yards, capping off a productive two-game postseason run that also saw him generate an 8-93-1 line in the divisional-round overtime victory against the Bills.
RJ Harvey
RJ Harvey Grinds out 59 total yards in loss
Sun, Jan 25, 2026, 5:31 PM
Harvey rushed 13 times for 37 yards and brought in four of six targets for 22 yards in the Broncos' 10-7 loss to the Patriots in Sunday's AFC Championship Game.
Analysis: Harvey unsurprisingly found running room at a premium against a tough Patriots defense and weather conditions that deteriorated as the game went on. However, the rookie put together a couple of productive runs and also made significant contributions as a receiver, finishing tied with Marvin Mims for the team lead in receptions and targets. Harvey put together an encouraging rookie season that saw him handle the lead-back role down the stretch in the absence of J.K. Dobbins (IR, foot), and he lines up to continue helming the Broncos backfield in 2026.
Jarrett Stidham
Jarrett Stidham Key turnovers in AFCG loss
Sun, Jan 25, 2026, 5:25 PM
Stidham completed 17 of 31 passes for 133 yards with one touchdown and one interception while adding four rushes for 23 yards in the Broncos' 10-7 loss to the Patriots in Sunday's AFC Championship Game. He also lost a fumble.
Analysis: Getting the starting nod in place of Bo Nix (IR, ankle), Stidham set an encouraging tone early by leading a five-play, 59-yard drive on Denver's second possession that included a 52-yard completion to Marvin Mims and was capped off by a six-yard touchdown pass to Courtland Sutton. However, that would be the extent of Denver's points on the afternoon, with increasingly deteriorating weather in the second half playing a significant role. Stidham's two turnovers were also costly, as his fumble came at his own 14-yard line early in the third quarter and led to New England's only touchdown, while his interception on a deep throw to Mims shortly before the two-minute warning snuffed out the Broncos' final hope to tie the game. Considering he had to open the game already down a key receiver in Troy Franklin (hamstring) and then also lost Pat Bryant to a hamstring issue in the second quarter, Stidham did a solid job in his first taste of game action in anything other than a preseason setting since the 2023 regular season; however, the combination of the elements, the Patriots defense and perhaps some of his own rust helped lead to a narrow loss.
Pat Bryant
Pat Bryant Not returning Sunday
Sun, Jan 25, 2026, 4:10 PM
Bryant (hamstring) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Patriots, Nick Kosmider of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Bryant was initially deemed questionable to return to the game after suffering a hamstring injury during the second quarter, but the Broncos will end up holding him out for the remainder of the contest. The rookie wideout rushed once for one yard and hauled in his lone target for a two-yard gain prior to departing.
Pat Bryant
Pat Bryant Iffy to return Sunday
Sun, Jan 25, 2026, 3:14 PM
Bryant is questionable to return to Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Patriots due to a hamstring injury, Luca Evans of The Denver Post reports.
Analysis: After exiting last week's divisional-round win over the Bills when he sustained his second concussion in less than a month, Bryant cleared the five-step protocol in advance of Sunday's contest but is now tending to a new health concern. Before exiting in the second quarter, Bryant recorded one catch for two yards and rushed once for one yard. The Broncos should have an update on Bryant's status for the remainder of the game following halftime.
Michael Bandy
Michael Bandy Inactive for AFCCG
Sun, Jan 25, 2026, 12:45 PM
Bandy (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Patriots, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
Analysis: The Broncos elevated both Bandy and Elijah Moore from the practice squad Saturday, but Denver will go with the latter as the No. 5 receiver in the absence of Troy Franklin (hamstring). Bandy appeared in four regular-season games for the Broncos in 2025 and caught all four of his targets for 50 yards and one touchdown.
Troy Franklin
Troy Franklin Not suiting up for AFC Championship
Sun, Jan 25, 2026, 12:32 PM
Franklin (hamstring) is inactive Sunday for the Broncos' AFC Championship Game against the Patriots, Aric DiLalla of Denver's official site reports.
Analysis: Franklin was a limited practice participant throughout the week and was deemed questionable heading into Sunday, but the wideout will ultimately be forced to the sideline for the first time all season while he recovers from the hamstring injury he sustained in the divisional-round win over the Bills. With Franklin sitting out, the Broncos should have more reps open at receiver for Pat Bryant, Marvin Mims and Lil'Jordan Humphrey behind No. 1 wideout Courtland Sutton.
Bo Nix
Bo Nix Facing 12-week recovery
Sun, Jan 25, 2026, 8:47 AM
Nix is expected to require 12 weeks to heal after undergoing surgery Tuesday to repair his broken right ankle, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Analysis: According to Schefter, Nix will be barred from putting weight on his right ankle for the next four weeks following surgery, and he'll then need around eight weeks to complete the rehab process before he's ready to resume on-field work. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network adds that Nix received good news upon undergoing surgery, as his injured ankle had "limited ligament damage and no joint surface damage." Given the estimated recovery timeline, Nix doesn't look like he'll be available for the start of Denver's offseason program, though he could be fully cleared for OTAs and minicamp in the late spring. With Nix sidelined for the duration of the Broncos' playoff run, Jarrett Stidham will step in as the team's starting quarterback in Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Patriots.
Michael Bandy
Michael Bandy Elevated for Sunday
Sat, Jan 24, 2026, 4:49 PM
The Broncos elevated Bandy from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.
Analysis: Bandy played in four regular-season games for 16 offensive snaps, totalling four receptions for 50 yards and a touchdown on four targets. Bandy will join fellow wide receiver Elijah Moore as a depth option at receiver, elevated as a precaution for a scenario where Troy Franklin (hamstring) cannot suit up for Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Patriots.
