RJ Harvey
RJ Harvey Struggles with 16 touches
Sun, Jan 4, 2026, 9:33 PM
Harvey was held to 28 yards on 15 carries while catching one of four targets for five yards in Sunday's 19-3 win over the Chargers.
Analysis: Harvey was bottled up from the get-go Sunday, averaging less than 2.0 yards per carry while failing to make an impact as a receiver. The rookie's poor performance was compounded by his inability to extend the five-game scoring streak he entered the contest with. Harvey put together a strong fantasy campaign with 896 combined yards from scrimmage and 12 total touchdowns across 17 games. The 2025 second-round pick started the year as a backup and took over for J.K. Dobbins (knee) as the starter in Week 11 after the latter was placed on injured reserve. Harvey should continue leading Denver's backfield when the AFC's No. 1 seed resumes play in the divisional round of the playoffs.
Bo Nix
Bo Nix Win clinches first-round bye
Sun, Jan 4, 2026, 9:19 PM
Nix completed 14 of 23 pass attempts for 141 yards while taking eight carries for 49 yards in Sunday's 19-3 win over the Chargers.
Analysis: Nix put his athleticism on display against the Chargers by rushing for his most yards (49) in a single game this season. The 25-year-old fell short as a passer when he was held without a touchdown pass for the third time in 17 starts. The surging sophomore leaned on his defense and special teams to secure victory Sunday, a win that earned Denver the AFC's No. 1 seed and a first-round bye for the upcoming playoff schedule. Nix finishes the regular season completing 63 percent of his pass attempts for 3,931 yards, 25 touchdowns and 11 interceptions while producing 83-356-5 on the ground. The Broncos will now await the results of the wild-card round before preparing for their opponent in the divisional round on either Jan. 17 or 18.
Troy Franklin
Troy Franklin Blanked in Week 18 win
Sun, Jan 4, 2026, 8:37 PM
Franklin failed to catch his only target in the Broncos' win over the Chargers on Sunday.
Analysis: Bo Nix completed 14 of 23 passes for 141 scoreless yards in the victory, but only one of his throws went to Franklin, whose playing time has been dialed back over the past month-plus. Pat Bryant has been seeing more action alongside Courtland Sutton. Franklin will be a boom-or-bust fantasy bet in the divisional round following Denver's first-round bye.
Marcedes Lewis
Marcedes Lewis Healthy scratch in Week 18
Sun, Jan 4, 2026, 2:41 PM
Lewis (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's contest versus the Chargers, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official website reports.
Analysis: Lewis will be a healthy scratch for the team's regular-season finale after logging 15 offensive snaps in Week 17 versus the Chiefs. The 41-year-old doesn't have much of a role in the passing attack, so his absence won't have a major impact on offense against Los Angeles.
Pat Bryant
Pat Bryant Cleared to play Week 18
Fri, Jan 2, 2026, 4:07 PM
Bryant (concussion) does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Chargers.
Analysis: The lack of an injury designation indicates that an independent neurologist has cleared Bryant from the league's concussion protocol. The rookie third-rounder will be available for Sunday's regular-season finale as the Broncos look to lock up the No. 1 seed in the AFC heading into the postseason. Bryant has logged six targets or more in three of his last four games, accumulating 17 catches (on 25 targets) for 198 yards over that span.
Nate Adkins
Nate Adkins Full practice Thursday
Thu, Jan 1, 2026, 7:04 PM
Adkins (knee) was a full participant at practice Thursday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official website reports.
Analysis: Adkins was able to log a full practice after opening the week as a limited participant Wednesday, moving past the knee injury that forced him to miss the team's Week 17 win over the Chiefs. The tight end will likely operate in his traditional depth role behind Evan Engram and Adam Trautman in Sunday's matchup with the Chargers.
Pat Bryant
Pat Bryant Logs full practice Thursday
Thu, Jan 1, 2026, 6:58 PM
Bryant (concussion) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
Analysis: Bryant entered the league's concussion protocol after taking a huge hit during the fourth quarter of the Broncos' Week 16 loss to the Jaguars, which resulted in him being carted off the field and taken to a local hospital. He did not play against the Chiefs on Christmas Day, but his ability to practice in full indicates that he is progressing through the league's concussion protocol. The last step Bryant needs to take in order to be available for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Chargers is to be cleared from the league's protocol by an independent neurologist.
Nate Adkins
Nate Adkins Limited in Wednesday's practice
Wed, Dec 31, 2025, 6:36 PM
Adkins (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.
Analysis: Adkins was unable to play against the Chiefs on Christmas Day due to a knee injury, which also caused him to miss five games from Weeks 9 through 14. His ability to practice in a limited fashion indicates that he is progressing in his recovery, and he would likely avoid an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Chargers if he were to log a full practice over the next two days.
Pat Bryant
Pat Bryant Returns to limited practice
Wed, Dec 31, 2025, 5:53 PM
Bryant (concussion) was limited at practice Wednesday.
Analysis: Bryant didn't practice ahead of the Broncos' Dec. 25 win over the Chiefs, so the wideout's limited participation Wednesday is a step in the right direction ahead of Sunday's game against the Chargers. Bryant now has two more chances to upgrade to full participation before Denver's Week 18 injury designations are posted Friday. In his absence versus Kansas City, Troy Franklin, Marvin Mims and Lil'Jordan Humphrey worked behind top WR Courtland Sutton, who led the team with 10 targets in Week 17.
Lil'Jordan Humphrey
Lil'Jordan Humphrey Catches two passes in win
Sun, Dec 28, 2025, 8:31 PM
Humphrey caught two of five targets for 23 yards in Denver's 20-13 win over Kansas City on Thursday.
Analysis: Humphrey's five targets were his most in a game since joining the Broncos on Nov. 12. With Pat Bryant (concussion) absent against the Chiefs, Humphrey operated as the Broncos' WR2 in terms of playing time, getting in on 60 percent of the offensive snaps, ahead of both Marvin Mims (47 percent) and Troy Franklin (38 percent). In six games with the Broncos, Humphrey has nine catches for 101 yards and one touchdown on 15 targets.
Marvin Mims
Marvin Mims Minimal production in Week 17
Sat, Dec 27, 2025, 8:40 AM
Mims caught three of four targets for 10 yards in Thursday's 20-13 win over the Chiefs.
Analysis: Mims was unable to have much of an impact on the stat sheet despite seeing four targets against Kansas City. The 23-year-old wideout played 34 of the Broncos' 72 offensive snaps, behind Courtland Sutton (59) and Lil'Jordan Humphrey (43), but ahead of Troy Franklin (27) and Michael Bandy (7). The 2025 campaign has been an underwhelming one for Mims, who secured more than three catches in just three games this season. Through 14 games, the Oklahoma product has recorded just 35 receptions on 48 targets for 312 yards and a touchdown, adding 12 rushes for 78 yards and a score. The Broncos have not used him down the field much this season, capping his upside in Denver's aerial attack. Mims should not be trusted for fantasy purposes as the Broncos host the Chargers in Week 18.
Adam Trautman
Adam Trautman Targeted twice against Kansas City
Sat, Dec 27, 2025, 8:09 AM
Trautman caught both of his targets for 24 yards in Thursday's 20-13 win over the Chiefs.
Analysis: Trautman played 52 of the Broncos' 72 offensive snaps Thursday, once again playing the most snaps at tight end. Teammates Evan Engram and Marcedes Lewis played 22 and 15 snaps, respectively. Engram paced the position group in targets (4) as Denver's preferred pass-catching tight end. Meanwhile the 28-year-old Trautman continued to operate as a blocking specialist. The veteran's limited opportunities keep him far off the fantasy radar each week. Next up for the Broncos is a Week 18 matchup against the Chargers.
Evan Engram
Evan Engram Four grabs in win
Fri, Dec 26, 2025, 11:19 PM
Engram caught all four of his targets for 21 yards in Thursday's 20-13 win over the Chiefs.
Analysis: Engram continued his role as the Broncos' No. 1 pass-catching tight end, however he was unable to get much going against the Chiefs. The 31-year-old played 22 of Denver's 72 offensive snaps, behind blocking specialist Adam Trautman (52). Engram's limited playing time and inefficient production make him difficult to trust for fantasy purposes. The veteran will look to bounce back with a strong performance in Week 18 when the Broncos host the Chargers in the regular season finale.
Michael Bandy
Michael Bandy Reverts to practice squad
Fri, Dec 26, 2025, 5:05 PM
Bandy reverted to the Broncos' practice squad Friday.
Analysis: Bandy was elevated to the active roster ahead of Thursday night's 20-13 win over the Chiefs. The wide receiver caught both of his targets for 14 total yards on his seven offensive snaps. While Bandy continues to see some usage, he remains behind Courtland Sutton, Troy Franklin and Lil'Jordan Humphrey in the WR pecking order.
Jaleel McLaughlin
Jaleel McLaughlin Seven carries in win
Thu, Dec 25, 2025, 11:08 PM
McLaughlin rushed the ball seven times for 40 yards in Thursday's 20-13 win over the Chiefs.
Analysis: McLaughlin closed the gap in workload to RJ Harvey in Week 16, though he was the clear complementary back once again Thursday. He was out-touched 19-7 by Harvey, though McLaughlin did chip in a 15-yard run just before halftime to set up a field goal for the Broncos. He'll likely retain a secondary role in the Denver offense in Week 18 against the Chargers.
Troy Franklin
Troy Franklin Limited to short receptions
Thu, Dec 25, 2025, 11:00 PM
Franklin recorded four receptions on four targets for 17 yards in Thursday's 20-13 win over the Chiefs.
Analysis: With the exception of Courtland Sutton, the Broncos spread targets evenly amongst their pass catchers. Franklin was among four wide receivers or tight ends to earn at least four targets, and he finished sixth on the team in yardage. His longest gain went for only six yards, though that was a reflection of Denver's conservative passing game plan. Franklin has under 25 receiving yards in three of his last five games, and this outcome was particularly disappointing given the absence of Pat Bryant (concussion).
Courtland Sutton
Courtland Sutton Can't connect with Nix
Thu, Dec 25, 2025, 10:52 PM
Sutton recorded four receptions on 10 targets for 40 yards in Thursday's 20-13 win over the Chiefs.
Analysis: Sutton easily led the Broncos with 10 targets and was the only skill-position player to get opportunity down the field. He converted one of those targets into a 23-yard gain -- the team's longest from scrimmage -- though that was his only notable contribution of the game. This marked Sutton's lowest yardage output since Week 10, and he'll face a tough Week 18 matchup against the Chargers to close the regular season.
RJ Harvey
RJ Harvey Inefficient as rusher
Thu, Dec 25, 2025, 10:44 PM
Harvey rushed the ball 14 times for 43 yards in Thursday's 20-13 win over the Chiefs. He added five receptions on six targets for 33 yards and a touchdown.
Analysis: Harvey regained a larger split of work out of Denver's backfield, out-touching Jaleel McLaughlin 19-7. However, the good news mostly ended there, as five of his 14 carries went for two or fewer yards. He did manage to perform better as a pass catcher, picking up 13 yards on a dump off midway through the third quarter before also catching the game-winning touchdown from one yard away late in the final quarter. Harvey has been inefficient as a runner for most of the season, but he has scored in five straight games and seven of his last nine contests to give him consistent fantasy value.
Bo Nix
Bo Nix Manages Denver to victory
Thu, Dec 25, 2025, 10:34 PM
Nix completed 26 of 38 passes for 182 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Thursday's 20-13 win over the Chiefs. He added nine rushes for 42 yards and an additional touchdown.
Analysis: The Broncos ran a conservative offense while facing Kansas City's third-string quarterback, which served to limit Nix's passing output. He only managed one completion of more than 20 yards, and he struggled to make any deep connections with Courtland Sutton even when given the chance. The end result was that he averaged only 4.8 yards per attempt-- his lowest mark since Week 9. Nix still had a decent fantasy performance thanks to a nine-yard rushing score late in the third quarter. Overall, Nix has accounted for multiple touchdowns in only two of his last seven games, though he has surpassed 300 passing yards three times in that span.
Michael Bandy
Michael Bandy Elevated for Christmas Day
Thu, Dec 25, 2025, 3:55 PM
The Broncos have elevated Bandy from the practice squad for Thursday's game against the Chiefs.
Analysis: Bandy was also elevated for Denver's win over the Packers in Week 15, in which he secured his only target for a 20-yard touchdown while playing just two total offensive snaps. He'll figure to handle a depth role again versus Kansas City on Christmas Day.
